Scavenger Hunt!

For this post, I'm trying something new that I found out about on Kezzie's blog. Each month on Made With Love, Greenthumb posts a list of things for a scavenger hunt, and you have a month to find and photograph those things. Then you can link up your list on her blog. Fun, right?

So here we go!

A IS FOR... my sister, Ann, whose birthday is in April. There are actually recent pictures of her here, but I wanted to use this old one because it's so cute!

11AM - or it might have been 10:40, but I was ready for a snack.

SMOOTH - this one speaks for itself.

SCALE - cue "Twilight Zone" music.

TILE - in downtown Eugene.

LOGO - I walk by this place every day, and I've always thought this is one of the best logos I've seen.

SCRAP - also in downtown Eugene.

MATCH

PATH

LAYERS - downtown Eugene again.

CARRY - UNICEF just sent this beautiful tote bag - it's plasticized and it has an outer zip pocket. I do love it, but I wouldn't mind if they just kept the money and used it for what they do best.

TRUCK

You can see more Scavenger Hunts and get the list for May's Scavenger Hunt here.

  1. What a FUN idea! I'm currently looking for out-of-the-box ideas for MCC :: Summer Edition because I don't fancy doing OOTDs every. single. day. This looks like a good weekday filler. Will definitely participate in some way. Leave it to you to find the cool linkup places. Love the pics! :D

  2. Great interpretations of the prompts. What an adorable photo of your sister, and I love the decorative tile. I could do with varying my photos a bit; it's either flowers, me, my bangles, kids or cats! xxx

  3. Very cool idea and well done, Val! Your sister's smile did not change a bit - still so happy and open which is the coolest thing. :)

Some tricky subjects this month...I'm late as usual. Your sister in her Brownie? uniform was so cute and I especially like Path and Truck.

  9. Loved seeing your photos. and glad you enjoyed joining in. It does make you think more about subjects to capture in a photo. But I must remember to keep the next months list handy at all times. when I'm out and about with my camera. Look forward to seeing what you choose next time. The angle of the truck is my favourite.

  13. The Scavenger Hunt idea is a good one, especially if you've been suffering from blogger's block! I'm sure you're sister disliked her freckles but they are wonderful.
